Last night, I slept ALL NIGHT LONG! Mommy was so surprised when she woke up at 6am and I was still snoozing! I was in a really good mood today, so I hope I can sleep all night again tonight.

Mom went to run errands today and when she came home, dad was singing to me on his guitar. Here is a song he made up for me:

Talking

I try to talk to mommy all the time, but I can only get sound to come out every once in a while.

My Boppy

I really like my Boppy pillow. In the evenings, mom and dad put me on it while they put up the laundry. I always really want to stay awake after daddy comes home, but it is so hard. I know I am not supposed to fall asleep if I am not in my crib, so I wait until mom and dad look away and then I go to sweet dreamland.

Today, I figured out that if I hold a rattle and move my whole body, it will make noise! (yes, Endless Love is playing the background...I like the classics)

Everyday!

When I was still in mommy's tummy I would get the hiccups everyday. Now, sometimes I get them twice a day! I think if I make noise they will go away.

Sushi

On Wednesday, I went to have sushi with my friends Michael and Maren. I haven't quite figured out how to use chop sticks yet, but the restaurant owner assured me that it wouldn't be long before I was a pro!

I am realllly tired today. I got a cold a few weeks ago and the pediatrician told mom and dad to let me sleep in my bouncy chair so my head would be elevated and my congestion wouldn't be so bad. Mom and dad were so excited about how well it worked...until they tried to put me in my crib without the bouncy seat. I cried for most of the night until about 4am, when mom finally decided that I needed some sleep and gave in. I was so happy to be back in the seat that I immediately stopped crying and slept soundly until it was time to eat this morning. I heard mom say that I can't sleep in my seat for much longer and that I need to sleep on my crib mattress. I am not sure how I feel about that now, but I am sure I will get used to it!
