Big Girl Cup

So mom bought me a present today. It is called a big girl cup! Lately I havent really been wanting to drink from the bottle, so mom is letting me practice on this cup at dinnertime. I wasn't real sure if I liked it or not, but I gave it a shot!

Lunch in Evansville

Today I went to Evansville, Indiana. I went to a place that my friend Jonah calls the Crack Crack Bear and we had lunch with him, his mommy and daddy and Jenn and Lafe. Mom and Dad said they hadn't seen our friends Jenn, Jake, and Jonah since I was in mommy's tummy! They are super cool and cuddles me a lot!

6 Months Old

I turned six months old last Tuesday, so today I went to see Dr. B. for a check up. Here are my new stats:

• I weigh 19 lbs
• I am 28 1/2 inches long
• The nurse noticed I have another tooth - thats a total of 7! Mom hadn't even seen it yet!
• I get to start eating other kinds of big girl foods and drink from a big girl cup
• I got 4 more shots, and only cried for about thirty seconds. I just wanted to make sure the nurse knew I was mad.

Who is that baby?

Every night before my bath, mom takes me to see a baby. She doesn't have much hair, and she is always really excited to see me. I think she is really pretty and when mom tells me how pretty she is, I think that's really funny. I hope she continues to come around.

Reading with Dad

So I have been reading this book by a dude named Suess called "The Foot Book". It is all about silly feet. Dad says there are big feet like mine, and furry feet like moms. Mom doesn't think that's too funny :).

Tired

I have been super tired since my trip to Owensboro. Mom and Dad kept letting me sleep yesterday, but then they took my temperature last night and it turns out that I am sick! I went to the doctor this morning and he said I have a nasty virus that makes my throat hurt! I cuddled with Dad all this morning and now mom is home with me. I hope I feel better soon!

Congratulations Lafe and Jenn!

Last month, my friends Lafe and Jenn got married. Then, they moved to Owensboro, which is only 2 hours away from us! I am so excited, because I can go see them anytime I want! Yesterday, they had a second wedding reception and me, mommy, and daddy drove down to see them. It was awesome! The other night right before bed, I figured out how to make a new sound. It is super loud and high pitched and I think it is hilarious. I decided to make sure that everyone at the reception liked it too.

This is a new toy that mommy bought me for the trip. I reallly like it.

Saturday Fun

Today has been a fun Saturday. Daddy has to work from noon to midnight (he is having his own fun down at Thunder Over Louisville), so mom and I went and met Aunt Amy and Cousin Jasmine at the mall for lunch! My cuzzy Jasmine really loves me and she has her own little brother coming in 6 weeks. His name is Joshua and right now he lives in Aunt Amy's tummy. Mom says I used to live in her tummy, but I am not sure if there would be enough room for me in there...

Springtime Fun

This week has been weird outside. It is a lot warmer than it has ever been! Mom says that it is springtime and that we will get to start going outside. Here are some pics of the first time I got to play in the grass!

Lunch with Grandma

Today I had lunch with Great Grandma Gee at Bob Evans. Her 85th birthday was last month, but this was the first chance we have had to take her out!

Mommy's work

Today, my school was closed so that all my teachers could clean my class. I got to hang out with daddy again all day! Mom was really bummed that she had to go to work while we had fun all day, so we went and had lunch with her. This is her new office (remember, I told you she got a new job?). I really liked meeting all the new people there and even wanted one of them to hold me!

Missing Mommy

This week mommy had to go to a place called Pittsburg for a important meeting. So guess what??? I GOT TO HANG OUT WITH DADDY ALL BY MYSELF FOR TWO DAYS! We had so much fun, but mommy was really missing me. This was one of the pics I sent to her while she was away.
