This week Mommy went to Pittsburg. Dad always like to have Sadie/Daddy dates, so we went to Arby's and to the park!

The gaslight festival is so much fun! There are tons of art booths to look at and a lot of people to have fun with! I waved at people I liked and smiled at people I liked even more! Did I mentioned at my Uncle Ben and Aunt Danielle went with us? They will be back in two weeks to see me again!

Church at the park

The school where we usually meet didnt have electricity today, so we got to have church at the park! I ate lunch while I was there and my friend Caroline kept trying to share my yum yums! Later, Daddy, Mommy and I went to swing!

My First Parade

Today I went to my first parade! It was super fun and I got to hang out with Mommy and Dee Dee all by myself! I saw my first fire truck, my first horses, and my first beauty queens. I also saw some really cool floats. One was a bath tub, one of my most favey things. The other one was from Kosair, the hospital where I got all better after I came out of mommy's tummy. I made sure to wave to them.

Electricity: Day 4

Good news! Mommy stopped at the house after lunch and we have power again! We will still be eating at Dee Dee and Pops tonight because we had to get rid of all of our food. Thank goodness it is fun to hang out over there!

Electricity: Day 3

Last night I slept a lot better! Even though the house is still quiet, mommy and daddy were reading with candles and stayed really quiet so that I could get some rest. Being without power is weird. I get to sleep in because Mommy and Daddy have to wait until it is light enough for me to eat breakfast. I have also been eating breakfast in the living room where the most light is. Mommy had to get ready at work today so that she could blow dry her hair. Going without electricity sure is an adventure!

Electricity: Day 2

Our house is still dark. Last night, Daddy slept with me because I was scared. I am not used to being able to hear everything outside! We ate hot dogs at Dee Dee's because we had to throw away all of our food and our stove doesn't work!

Today our electricity went out. It's dark in the house. Thank goodness we had already planned on going to Dee Dee's for dinner!

So Mom went on a business trip today and asked me not to crawl before she got back...

Mommy says I am soooo close to crawling. I get on all fours and rock back and forth. Then, I sit back up and find another thing to rock towards. I can sit up from laying down and pull up, but this crawling thing is tricky! Wish me luck!

Labor Day

Did you know that I got to have a big party on Labor Day? We had BBQ and got to play in the pool! My friends Abby and Eliza came over and they got to go swimming too! Mommy and Daddy said we will get to have a lot more parties now that we live in a house!
