Six Flags

Today we went to the water park again. I love the wave pool and the lazy river. The kiddy area is okay too. Today, while I was in the wave pool, I pulled myself up! Mommy thinks I may decide I do not want to crawl after all, a lot like my friend Ivy. I also would clap everytime a big wave came. Mommy and I will be sad when summer is over.

I got up in the middle of the night and put this present in my crib so that Mom could have it when she came in to wake me up.

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is Mom's birthday. This is a song I have been practicing for her.

New things

Three new things I have done this week:
1. Mimic mommy when she makes sounds.
2. Today, mommy asked for a bite of the toy I was chewing on, and I shared!
3. If mommy or daddy hold my hands, I can stand up on my own!

Me and Grandma Gee

Mommy's birthday is coming up soon, so Great Grandma Gee came over tonight and brought us dinner. We had a yummy roast with carrots, green beans, and potatoes. We also had green beans!

Preschool is fun!

Today at preschool we had texture play. Most of the time it is just with fabric or other materials, but today I got to play with chocolaye pudding! I dipped my finger into it to see what it would taste like and then decided to attack it.

Making sounds like mommy

4th of July Weekend

This 4th of July I didn't shoot off any fireworks. Since I go to bed at 7:30, it was not even dark yet. So we invited our friends Brian, Steve, Sam, Abby, and Joanna over for a barbeque and Nertz.



This is my friend Brian. He has an awesome beard.




My buddy Abigail played with me all night. She brought me every single toy in the living room! I guess she wanted to make sure I didn't get bored. :)



On Saturday, Daddy went to Cincinnati to go to cousin Rachel's wedding. Here he is holding baby Joshua. Mom and I stayed home and I wasn't feeling very good. I have had a diaper rash and am teething(what's new. right?). The picture below is what I looked like for most of the day. All I wanted to do was lay next to mommy.



On Sunday, we went to Six Flags! I got to float in the lazy river and play in the wave pool. I even had a BIG wave try to get me, but I didn't mind! I had so much fun standing in the water (with Daddy's help)and splashing!

New Clothes

After school today, Mom and I went to buy some new clothes. Mom had to change my clothes twice this morning because all of my bottoms were cutting into my thighs! (Mom calls them my hamhocks) I was so excited to see what we bought when we got home, that I decided to try to eat my new stuff.
