Fun with Cousin Jasmine

Remember how I told you that cousin Joshua was born this week? Well, mom and dad decided to let Aunt Amy and Uncle Steve have some time alone, and let cousin Jasmine come over! We had dinner at Steak and Shake and then came back to go to bed. Cousin Jasmine helped with my bath and then helped me go to sleep. Here is a picture of our fun time together.

Welcome to the World, Cousin Joshua!

Dear cousin Joshua,
Welcome to the world! I have been waiting for you to be born since I came out of my mommy's tummy! Here are some cool things about me and you:
1. We will be in the same grade in school.
2. I will always be older than you, but I promise to not always be the instigator in our mischief!
3. You have more hair than me even though I am 7 months older than you. I am not jealous.
4. I got to hold you for the first time today. It was awesome!
5. We have the best family! They all have a lot of interesting things to say and will love you more than anything!

Lafe

Remember my friend Lafe? He and Jenn came to see me this weekend! Lafe is a super cool buddy and I like to try to give him kisses. I also like it when he kisses me. Don't tell mom, but I tried to go to sleep on his shoulder.

Memorial Day Weekend

This last weekend was Memorial Day Weekend! We went to Holiday World in Santa Claus, IN and I got to go into the water for the first time. I was reallly cold, even mommy said so! I sat on daddy's lap on the lazy river and went into the splash park. Mostly I just sat around looking cute in my bathing suit. I can't wait for it to get warmer so that I can go all the way into the pool! Oh yeah! And I used my sippy cup all by myself whenever I got thirsty!

Did you know I am 7 months old today?

One of my favorite new things to do as a seven month old is to grab mommy and daddy's faces for kisses. They are good snugglers!

My "Aunt" Danielle is official

Well Aunt Danielle, you're official. Yesterday, I got to ride with Dee Dee and Pops and come and watch you marry Ben. I had a really fun time! I hadn't seen daddy in a couple of days, so this last picture shows how excited I was that he was going to come and pick me up!

Bumpity Bump

This is the best way to sleep. Even though mommy lays me down on my back, I like to flip over and sleep on my tummy. In fact, I have started to move around so much in my crib, that mom had to put crib bumpers up! The other night, she walked in and one of my legs was hanging out between the crib slats! Of course, last night was my first time to sleep with the bumpers, and I decided that I didn't want to move around after all.

Mom has been getting me a lot of fun stuff for summer. Next weekend, I get to go to my first waterpark (mom says it will be my favorite thing to do), so mommy got me this cool hat and bathing suit! I will be sure and let you know how if I liked the waterpark or not.

Happy Mother's Day Mom!

Today was a day to celebrate mom! She says that if it weren't for me, we wouldn't have had a reason to celebrate. We went to Amerigo's for dinner and I really liked to read the menu.
